Overview
Fire Calls

April, 2005- The New Hope VFD was dispatched to a brush fire in the newly developed neighborhood off of LowellBethesda Rd.  Members were on the scene within four minutes to find a quickly spreading grass fire.  Engine 500  responded along with brush truck 507.  The fire burned hay that was spread along the landscape of the new neighborhood.  Due to the fast spread and many spot fires, command called for an additional brush truck from Lowell VFD.  Agencies on the scene were New Hope VFD, Lowell VFD, and the forestry service.

Fire Safety
During a Severe Thunderstorm, seek shelter inside a structure not outside under trees.
