Is Your House Number Properly Displayed?

All residents in the New Hope Fire District should have their house number prominently displayed at their residence. This will help ensure that emergency services personnel such as Police, Fire and Emergency Medical workers find your home in the event of an emergency. House numbers should be of a contrasting color to that of their background and should be at least four inches tall. (Preferably 4” white reflective numbers on a reflective blue or green background). If your home is less than 100 feet from the road, the number should be displayed near the primary entrance. If you home is more than 100 feet from the road, the number should be displayed near the driveway entrance and on your mailbox. The New Hope Fire Department encourages all residents to take the time to ensure that this number is readily visible. The time that it can save emergency workers in finding your residence can make a critical difference in an emergency.
